Our garden centre nursery at Three Legged Cross is packed with plants. On the Dorset-Hampshire border, close to Verwood, Ringwood and Wimborne, yet only a short drive from Bournemouth and Poole, Brackendale is not just another garden centre but a ‘growing’ nursery in every sense, offering a fantastic range of value for money plants that you will not find elsewhere.

Here we have included information about our range of plants, trees and services, and you can find out about our changing seasonal news and offers.  We offer a great choice of hedging plants, including field grown trees which are perfect for providing instant hedges and immediate screening, and supply native hedging, fruit and ornamental trees throughout the year.  We stock a good range of composts, including the very popular Violet Farm brand of peat; multipurpose compost; horse and vegetable composts; bags of ericaceous compost and ornamental bark.

We are open six days a week and our friendly and experienced staff are always available to help.  We sell and redeem HTA National Garden Gift Vouchers/Tokens and offer garden planning consultations and a delivery service throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you in the nurseries soon.

September in the Nursery: With our thoughts turning to Autumn, we are  taking orders for bare-rooted native hedging plants, fruit and ornamental trees. The dormant late Autumn and Winter months provide a great opportunity to buy and plant bare-root  and mature root-balled hedging, ornamental and fruit trees.  Elsewhere in the Nursery, our late summer flowering perennials are looking at their very best. We have Rudbeckias, Echinaceas and Sedums on our display tables, all of which will provide long-lasting displays, with a succession of flowers opening over these late summer months. As well as bringing colour to the garden they also provide great support for our butterflies, bees and other pollinators. Bring in the butterflies>>
