Native hedging  
The best time to select native hedging is during the dormant autumn and winter months.  We supply pot grown and bare rooted stock of all native hedging including: Blackthorne, Hawthorne, Beech, Hazel and Holly.

Conifers

Our conifer collection includes specimen, hedging and dwarf varieties.   We have an extensive range, which includes established field-grown specimens.  Our varieties include: Laws. Dorset Cream, Columnaris Glauca, Allumii, Pottenii, Juniperus Hibernica and the lovely Cryptomeria Elegans. Along with the green and gold leylandii varieties which are now firm favourites, our hedging varieties also includes the increasingly popular Thuja .  
 

Shrubs
We offer an extensive range of over 800 varieties, which are conveniently displayed alphabetically within the Nursery.  We take care to retain traditional varieties and our selection includes many unusual names, not often found in larger garden centres.  The inclusion of new varieties, ensures that the choice we offer increases with every season.   

Azaleas and Rhododendrons
Providing invaluable colour, the choice of Rhododendrons includes traditional hardy hybrids, dwarfs, and the profusely flowering yakusimanium varieties.  Established rhododendrons between 3-4ft high are available from the Nursery throughout the year, along with the common, yet invaluable hedging variety, Ponticum.  

Alpines
Our range of alpines provide gardeners looking to add colour to rockeries, paths, walls and banks with the perfect solution.

Bamboos, grasses and palms
The increasing popularity of bamboos, grasses and palms cannot be ignored and our range has increased year on year to reflect this.

Climbers and Clematis
As well as offering many of the large flowering hybrids, including the popular Montana varieties - such as Elizabeth, our clematis varieties also include the more unusual winter flowering varieties such as cirrhos. 

Fruit trees
We stock a wide range of fruit trees, including varieties of plum, cherry, apple and pear.   Container grown trees are available throughout the year and the range is supplemented in the autumn with bare rooted stock.

Heathers

Offering the benefits of low maintenance, heathers can provide year through colour for all gardens.  Our selection of summer and winter flowering varieties, are the ideal choice for borders and rockeries, and complement conifers perfectly.

Herbaceous perennials
In our new range of herbaceous perennials you’ll be sure to find the right mix of plants for your cottage garden or herbaceous borders. 

Herbs
Whether you’re looking to add scent to your garden or flavour to your cooking, we’re sure that you’ll find the herb that you’re looking for within our range.  Herbs thrive in tubs and containers, and can also be grown on kitchen windowsills or in dedicated gardens.

We stock a good range of established shrubs, which are ideal for gardeners seeking instant impact for a larger border, a new feature or as replacements for older plants.
